Kids Artistic Revue (KAR) — Ultra Dance Competition

KAR is more than a dance competition—it’s a cultural institution, a nationwide stage where discipline meets artistry, and every dancer gets their moment to shine. In 2024, the competition introduced a major innovation: for the first time, every family receives a full photo and video package as part of the competition experience, not as an add-on. That change called for a new kind of leadership.
As Road Media Department Supervisor, I stepped into this pivotal transition with a clear goal: to ensure the delivery of tens of thousands of photos and videos with the same seamless excellence dancers and choreographers expect from every other aspect of the show.
Welcome to Kids Artistic Revue National Dance Competition! KAR, along with our family of brands including Rainbow and Ultra Dance Competition, is dedicated to recognizing and encouraging dancers from across the world. Our beautiful stages will be shared by thousands of performers who will all have their moment to shine in a positive, rewarding, and exhilarating setting. We are proud to recognize teachers, choreographers, an parents for their hard work and commitment as they assist dancers to achieve their goals. KAR is honored to be a positive outlet where dedication, talent, and accomplishments are proudly celebrated.
Managing the Magic
On the road in over 80 competition nationally, I work at the intersection of:
Production strategy
Digital media operations
Live event logistics
Team coordination and storytelling
I lead coordination between photographers, videographers, and the social media team—designing workflows that ensure instant uploads, consistent backups, and real-time content selection for promotional use. Within the first five weeks of implementation, my streamlined systems increased competition package satisfaction and helped boost digital engagement and sales by 27%.

Mastering the Mediums
In a setting that honors both athleticism and art, I serve as the bridge between live performance and lasting memory. My job is to be the master of all mediums—ensuring that the digital storytelling side of KAR is as polished and powerful as the dancers themselves.
Through this work, I continue to refine my interdisciplinary creative practice: managing logistics at scale, while never losing sight of the joy, grit, and expression that define this dance community.
